VIDEO/Police Officer Finds A Puppy At A Crime Scene — What Follows Will Make Your Day

Police officers believed they were going to have a pretty uneventful day when they responded to a call about an unconscious man in a hotel room.

When they arrived on the scene, they found the room littered with drug paraphernalia, stolen checks, and personal information of dozens of victims. What they didn’t expect to find was a puppy.

Huddled and scared in the bathroom, Daisy was found malnourished and tired from being neglected by her unconscious owner.

The bathroom was the only sanctuary she could find that would grant her the peace a growing puppy needed. With no home of her own, one of the detectives on the scene decided to take her animal control in hopes that she could be nursed back to health and given a home.

For many animals, that would be where the story ends until they find their own forever homes.

But Detective Lynes couldn’t get Daisy off his mind, and after waiting the mandatory period of time to see if someone would claim her, Lynes brought Daisy home to be a part of his family.

She even gets to take trips to the precinct where she settles in nicely with those she can call her heroes. Her tiny, unobtrusive presence brings everyone a little solace and everyone loves having her around.

Now she dons a tiny vest to teach children about the dangers of drug abuse because humans aren’t the only ones who suffer.
